So, let’s talk about Terrence Howard and his rather… unique take on taxes and math. This guy has made some pretty wild claims about why he shouldn’t have to pay taxes. Like, we’re talking owing the IRS over a million bucks and refusing to cough it up kind of wild.

His reasoning? Brace yourself for this one: “it is immoral for the United States government to charge taxes to the descendants of slaves.” Yep, you read that right. According to Howard, because of the history of slavery, he shouldn’t have to pay taxes. He even left a voicemail for a tax attorney basically saying, “Nah, I’m good. Descendants of slaves shouldn’t have to pay taxes.”

But it doesn’t stop there. Howard is not just a tax rebel; he’s also a math rebel. He’s come up with his own version of math where 1 times 1 equals 2. Yeah, you heard me. In his world, the square root of four is two, so 1 times 1 equals 2. He even dropped out of school over this whole math debacle. Talk about dedication to your beliefs, right?

Now, you might be wondering, did Howard get away with this? Not quite. The Justice Department wasn’t having any of it. They took him to court, but Howard didn’t even bother showing up. The court slapped him with a $903,115 judgment for dodging his taxes.

And this isn’t Howard’s first rodeo with tax issues. He’s had liens slapped on his properties, faced criminal investigations for tax evasion, and even made it onto California’s list of top tax delinquents. Seems like Howard has a knack for stirring up trouble, both with the IRS and with his unique mathematical theories.

But hey, love him or hate him, you can’t deny Terrence Howard’s got moxie. And whether you agree with him or not, you gotta admit, the guy sure knows how to make headlines.
