  1. Never shake a man’s hand sitting down. It shows respect and confidence to stand up and greet someone with a firm handshake.
    2. Don’t enter a pool by the stairs. The stairs are for old people and kids. Dive in, swim, have fun.
    3. The man at the BBQ Grill is the closest thing to a king. He is in charge of the food, the fire, and the mood. Treat him well and he will treat you well.
    4. In a negotiation, never make the first offer. Let the other side name their price first, then you can counter with yours. You might get a better deal than you expected.
    5. Request the late check-out. You never know when you might need some extra time in the morning. Maybe you want to sleep in, maybe you have some work to do, maybe you met someone special. It doesn’t hurt to ask.
    6. When entrusted with a secret, keep it. Trust is hard to earn and easy to lose. If someone confides in you, don’t betray them by telling others. You will gain their respect and loyalty.
    7. Hold your heroes to a higher standard. Don’t idolize anyone blindly. Admire their achievements, but also learn from their mistakes. No one is perfect, and you can always improve yourself.
    8. Return a borrowed car with a full tank of gas. It’s a simple gesture of gratitude and courtesy. It shows that you appreciate the favor and that you are responsible.
    9. Play with passion or don’t play at all… Whether it’s sports, music, games, or anything else, don’t do it half-heartedly. Give it your all, enjoy it, and be proud of it.
    10. When shaking hands, grip firmly and look them in the eye. A weak handshake and averted eyes can signal insecurity and dishonesty…
